Gadget Guy on cfax1070.com Show Notes
Gadget Guy.ca was a guest on Victoria's CFAX 1070 Newsline PM this evening with host Rebecca Scott.
We spoke a little on the upcoming Apple iPhone expected to be released in the US in June. We likely won't see it here in Canada until late 2007 or early 2008. Because the iPhone is a GSM unit, we probably won't see it being offered by Bell or Telus - so Rogers is the most likely candidate. More on the iPhone at www.apple.com/iphone/
We also talked a little about Blu-Ray, HD-DVD and the LG combo drive. See the original article . So which one will win out? Perhaps neither. Can you say Holigraphic technology? According to One-To-One Magazine In-Phase Technology announced that they will be shipping their first holographic storage units in July. Each cartridge will hold 300GB of data.
We also talked about a new little device from Tekkeon called the myPowerGo.
An emergency backup power unit that can power or charge devices that take 5v or less.
We also briefly touched on Windows Vista and all the various configurations that can be had. Before we knew it we ran out of time.
If you heard the broadcast and would to comment, please feel free to email me.

Gadget Guy Test
Ok, So I guess I was wrong about Apple - I thought they would not put out a phone called iPhone - but they did. Interestingly enough there were reports of a licensing agreement then on another breathe they are being sued. Oh Well.
